MUSKEGON, MI — The Orchard View Cardinals track and field program continues to show its growth and competitiveness as seven student-athletes earned All Conference honors in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division following outstanding performances throughout the 2026 track season.
The Cardinals were represented by five boys and two girls who consistently delivered strong performances against some of the area's toughest competition.
Leading the way for the boys were Damari Wright, Ca'Mari Reese, I'zavion Spears, Shamariontya Johnson, and Peyton Babbitt, each earning All-Conference recognition through their dedication, hard work, and success on the track and in the field.
Their achievements are a testament to the countless hours spent training, competing, and pushing each other to improve each week.
On the girls' side, Jurnee Johnson and Cherish Bush earned All-Conference honors after impressive seasons of their own. Both athletes consistently scored points for the Cardinals and demonstrated the determination and commitment that have become hallmarks of the program.
The seven selections highlight the continued progress of Orchard View Track & Field and showcase the talent developing within the Cardinals program. Earning All-Conference recognition is one of the highest honors a student-athlete can receive during the regular season, recognizing excellence against the best competitors in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division.
Now that the season has closed, these athletes have left their mark on the program and provided a strong example for future Cardinals to follow.
"These athletes have put in countless hours of work to reach this point," said the coaching staff. "To have seven athletes recognized by the conference speaks volumes about their commitment, character, and determination. We couldn't be more proud of what they accomplished this season."
The future remains bright for Orchard View Track & Field, but for now, the Cardinals are celebrating a well-deserved honor for seven athletes who represented their school and community at the highest level throughout the 2026 season.
