MUSKEGON, MI — The Orchard View Cardinals girls soccer program celebrated two standout student-athletes following the release of the West Michigan Conference postseason honors.
Senior midfielder Emilee Secrest was named to the All-Conference Team, recognizing her outstanding performance, leadership, and impact throughout the 2026 season. Secrest played a vital role in the Cardinals' success, consistently demonstrating strong technical ability, field awareness, and a relentless work ethic that made her one of the conference's top players.
Throughout the season, Secrest served as a leader both on and off the field. Her ability to control possession, strong defense, set the tone along with her effort and determination helping elevate the Cardinals' play in every match. Her All-Conference selection is a testament to the dedication and commitment she has shown to the program during her career.
In addition to Secrest's recognition, Sophomore Jaymie Ashley earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors for her contributions this season. Ashley's development and consistency throughout the year made her a key piece of the Cardinals' lineup. Her hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to do whatever was needed for the team did not go unnoticed by coaches across the conference.
The honors reflect the growth of the Orchard View girls soccer program and the commitment these athletes have shown throughout the season. Both players represented the Cardinals with pride, sportsmanship, and determination while helping lay a foundation for future success.
