Muskegon, MI -- The Orchard View boys soccer team put together a complete performance Wednesday night at the new Charles Hackley Middle School, controlling the match from the opening kick to the final whistle in a commanding 7-0 victory over Muskegon.

From the start, the Cardinals played with confidence, moved the ball with purpose and kept the pressure on the Big Reds. It was the kind of performance Head Coach Chris Belasco has been preaching about all season, with consistency and composure on full display.

Orchard View wasted little time making its presence felt. Junior Bryson Stingle opened the scoring, giving the Cardinals an early boost and setting the tone for an offense that would continue to find answers throughout the night. Senior Leon Blackston added to the advantage as Orchard View maintained control and continued to create opportunities.

The Cardinals' attack featured contributions from across the lineup, with junior Caleb Bennett continuing to establish himself as a key piece to the offense. Bennett found the back of the net while also helping set up a teammate, finishing the night with a goal and an assist. His continued production has been an important part of Orchard View's ability to generate offense.

The younger Cardinals made their mark as well. Freshman Daylon Huffman found the net twice, delivering a standout performance and showing the impact he can have in the attacking third. His pair of goals helped Orchard View continue to pull away as the match progressed.

Aiden Leek added another memorable moment to the night. Having recently joined the Orchard View football team, Leek brought his powerful leg to the soccer field and made it count, finding the back of the net to extend the Cardinal lead.

Senior Wyatt Johnson also made his presence felt, scoring twice while contributing an assist. His performance added another layer to an Orchard View attack that proved difficult for Muskegon to contain.

With goals coming from six different Cardinals and contributions throughout the lineup, Orchard View demonstrated the offensive potential Belasco has been looking to see come together. The Cardinals paired that production with a strong defensive effort, keeping Muskegon off the scoreboard to secure the shutout.

The final result was a 7-0 Orchard View victory and a performance that reflected the importance of the message Belasco has continued to emphasize: consistency, composure and bringing all the tools together.
